Still Ferns Have Its Structure

Angiopteris evecta ferns don’t like to be disturbed, because they are a ‘Still Fern’.
They are found along edge of creeks and natural springs with continuous water running along their rhizomes roots.

They can get stress quite easily if any sudden disturbances, which causes the Angiopteris evecta ferns to dropped their leaves.
In contrast would take longer for them to recover, its depends how bad they have been disturbed.

Sometimes when Angiopteris evecta ferns, become stress from high temperatures, lacked of water or over exposer from prolong sunlight.
This is when the fern collapses  for example like celery left out without any water, it’s the same principles for the vascular ferns.
